deep heat of summer

These chilies look deadly but create the most amazing flavor when cooked till slightly burnt. Homemade Mexican salsas are very easy to make, they require only a few ingredients like garlic, tomatoes, salt and chilies. Served along with tortilla chips, I have been making these chilies into salsa all summer, sometimes everyday. It's burnt deep heat and tangy farmers market garlic makes it a total win with all guests and husband.
